This unreliability damages our reputation and look poorly to prospective clients. Less that two weeks later, same thing this time the who system was down. On Monday we were informed that our support call had been completed and the system was up. We had an issue on the weekend and found the html browser version down. We depend on this software to both sell our product by giving remote demos and to support our customers remotely. Over all my experience is very disappointing mainly because of outages. I started using the software again in 2016 because it could easily do both online meetings where I shared my screen and support where I viewed and controlled a different computer. Mikogo can be used in a variety of industries including software,Internet/IT, architecture, engineering, sales, financial advisory, business consultancy, real estate, insurance brokerage, education, graphic design, and much more.I used Mikogo when the company was just starting up and it seemed very good. When joining a session with the HTML Viewer, no download is required nor is ActiveX, Java, and Flash. Mikogo includes the award-winning HTML Viewer that allows participants to join from within a web browser on any computer or mobile device. Desktop sharing with multiple participants Ideal for online meetings, web presentations and remote support. The software, which is available in over 30 languages, is an easy-to-use and intuitive tool for online collaboration. Mikogo is a free online meeting solution that allows you to share any screen content in true color quality with up to 25 participants. It's very simple to use and switching from host to presenter is a breeze. Overall however, Mikogo is an impressive desktop sharing solution. There is also supposed to be an audio conferencing feature according to the developer website although I couldn't find this in the actual program. You can even allow the other user to take control of your machine using the 'Remote Control' feature. There's also a handy recording function which allows you to record sharing sessions for archiving or later reference. You can pause transmissions at any time and connections are encrypted with a 256-Bit AES encryption key. I also liked the fact that in an instant, you can change the host or presenter simply by clicking the icon in your top menu bar. There isn't too much lag time, meaning you don't have to wait ages for windows to move around the screen. The first thing you notice is that Mikogo is pretty quick. The person that wants to see someone else's desktop has to have an account but those that just want to share only have to enter the six digit code issued to them by the host. Before you do anything however, you'll have to sign-up for a Mikogo account, for which you simply have to supply your email address and name. Mikogo has been designed for beginners to desktop sharing so it's very easy to use. The other stand-out feature of Mikogo is that you can share with up to 10 different people at the same time, making it ideal for meetings, presentations, or training sessions. Secondly, you can connect across platforms so PC users can connect to Macs and vice versa. The first big bonus to note is that Mikogo is free to use.
